The information NEBA, HBRAMA, and NAHB provide is extremely useful for staying up to date on the home building industry regulation changes and initiatives before our legislature.

I earned my CAPS (Certified Aging in Pace Specialist) designation about 6 years ago through NAHB. I am also able to easily keep up with Universal Design and Aging in Place industry advancements through NAHB's educational offerings NAHB. On a local level, in addition to keeping us updated on local building issues, NEBA has given me the opportunity to connect with others in the building industry that I can personally get to know by attending "in person" NEBA events. These personal connections are so important in order to feel comfortable referring a member's services to my clients and it also gives me the opportunity to share with members my knowledge with others about the importance of using Universal Design in new builds.

Since joining NEBA in 2008, our visibility within the industry has been greatly enhanced as we are personally recognized at numerous networking events throughout the year. We are listed annually in the membership directory online and in print. We've also been able to take advantage of the countless, deep discounts made available to us via our 3 and 1 membership on everything from new vehicles to Sherwin Williams paint. With our membership, we also have the satisfaction of knowing that we support the industry that supports us on both a local and national level.
